A beautifully handcrafted piece, our Nyati Mango Wood platter is perfect for both serving and display. Made from sustainable mango wood, this large platter features intricate hand-etched detailing, adding texture and character. Handcrafted by skilled makers and made from mango wood. We love working with this material, which is a by-product of the mango growing industry in India, and repurposing it to give it a new lease of life. Once the trees are no longer fruitful, we use them to create many of our stylish, eclectic and sustainable furnishings for use throughout the home.
As a rule, we do not treat our wooden platters and chopping board with any finishes, preferring to keep it simple and natural. When you wash your wood product, do not leave it soaked in water, instead wash it in warm soapy water and dry immediately with a cloth. This stops the wood taking on too much moisture and prevents any warping or cracking.
