Many of our pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make our wooden pieces. Mango trees have a relatively short growing cycle of 12-15 years. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
Working with wood is an ancient art form and the carpenters that skilfully create our collections, from chopping boards to coffee tables, hone the age-old skills of their forefathers whilst embracing new and exciting designs for the future.
