Learn More about Handcrafted Dining Tables

What is the most durable type of dining table?

Mango wood is a good material choice for dining tables. Durable and versatile, it works within many styles of décor and can last for decades with proper care.

What shape of dining table is best for small spaces?

For small spaces, round tables are the most effective. They can fit into compact areas and are ideal for apartments or smaller homes.

How do I choose the best dining table for my home?

Choosing the right dining table for your space depends on a number of factors. Here are a few things you might want to consider:

  • Design: You can choose a piece that complements your existing decor or opt for something that brings a distinct contrast to the room. Our Anbu dining table would perfectly complement a warm modern farmhouse design, while being a contrasting anchor in a post-modern home.

  • Shape: Think about flow and layout. Round dining tables create an intimate space for small dining rooms, while rectangular dining tables provide a classic silhouette for large groups and longer dining rooms.

  • Size: The size of your dining table depends greatly on the space you have available. A larger statement piece may not work in smaller spaces and will demand too much room, while a smaller, more intimate table may be dwarfed in a larger environment.

How much space should there be around a dining table?

We recommend having at least 90cm of clearance between your dining table and any surrounding walls or furniture. More clearance room around 120 cm could allow others to walk behind guests already seated to serve food or access doorways.
