Local metal workers skilfully solder around the glass using traditional techniques. This handmade process means that there are weld marks on the joins of each piece, an honest feature that we love as it tells the story of how the product is made.

Looks identical to picture so exactly what I wanted. And overall am very happy with it. Its heavy, but not too heavy - would need to ensure tree could hold it if its a real tree. One star taken off as quite a lot of the paint flecks (on the outer design to make it look aged) had fallen off in transit so there was a lot of metallic paint dust that needed to be carefully wiped from the glass so as not to damage the faux patina.
