The utilitarian design of the Tamba shelf is give warmth and character with a rust finish. This practical shelving unit includes practical hanging hooks, perfect for mugs. The sustainable mango wood shelves add a natural aesthetic.
Our mango wood pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make our wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a cloth. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. The finish may mark when put in contact with liquid. Blot any spillage immediately with a dry cloth, do not use chemical cleaners.

Pleased with this product - well made and arrived promptly.
One star short? … because the wood is unfinished it is vulnerable to stains where we’re using ours ( in a bathroom). I‘ve had to refinish and coat mine with Osmo oil.
Otherwise, looks really nice an pleased with our purchase.

I bought this for my kitchen. It looks every bit as fabulous in situ as i had imagined it would when it caught my eye on nkuku's website. I am using the hooks as a key rack and the shelves more as displaying some nice kitchen pieces that are too good to hide in a cupboard. Finished off with some wire lights scattered on shelves. Had so many compliments too.

Somehow manages to both be bigger than, and smaller than I expected, but love it!
Because of the non-symmetrical mesh it does a great job of standing out as a piece.
One note is that the hooks are on a continuous bar, so too much weight in the centre will cause it to flex slightly.
Other than affecting aesthetics this thing seems sturdy so I don't expect it'd do any damage.
