Our new Shirali collection has a contemporary, sleek design aesthetic and an ethereal apricot glow that lends itself to becoming the stylish focal point of any table setting. Perfect to add interest to neutral tableware but equally striking in contrast with a darker scheme. The smooth-formed glass gives it a beautiful sheen that contrasts with the irregular colour patterning that gives a sense of texture. Coordinates with the Shirali tumblers and jug.
We use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand-blown. The unusual colour and patterning comes from powder that is skilfully thrown into the glass as it is blown. This not only makes it food safe but offers a purity of colour and improves the overall quality of the piece.
To care for your glassware, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care.

Recycled glass is washed before being crushed and melted down by skilled glassmakers. Each recycled glass piece is gently mouth-blown, creating irregular mottled patterning that renders each piece totally unique and pleasingly opulent.
