Introducing a new mug shape for nkuku; we love the extra height and comfortable handle size that gives the Canela mug elegant yet robust proportions that fits perfectly in the hand. This is everyday, casual ceramic ware, with a splash of character in the form of a hand-applied cinnamon coloured glaze that coordinates with our Canela serving bowl. This is a set of two.
These mugs are handmade in Portugal from locally sourced clay by skilful makers who apply the glaze by hand. The process relies on the expertise and experience of the potter and while it is time consuming we believe it is well worth the wait as each piece reveals its own individual character.
To care for your mugs, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care to prevent chipping.
