Our backgammon sets are skilfully handmade from sustainable mango wood in this stylish and practical design. The board is hand painted, and the dice and each chequer are also cut from mango wood. Backgammon originated in the Middle East over 5000 years ago, it involves a combination of strategy and luck.
To care for your board game, we recommend wiping the set with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Keep away from moisture and store in a dry place when not in use. If you wish to protect the natural wood, you can rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth. Please note that adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.
