Our Pawi mango wood trays are an exemplary display of craftmanship, the attractive design is created by hand, from segments of sustainable mango wood. The small edge provides practical purpose.
Our mango wood pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make our wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
To care for your mango wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a cloth. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time.

Just what we wanted - a spacious tray we can use in particular to protect an ottoman from spills. You can carry cups, tea/coffee pot, cake and plates quite comfortably on this tray. It is beautifully made and equally lovely to look at and has received compliments from family. It is large and solid wood, therefore it is heavier than say a metal tray, but worth it for the quality.
