At Nkuku, we work with artisans around the world, but a large majority of our collections are handmade in India. Frequent visits have exposed us to not only the wonder and vitality of this beautiful country but also the hardships and poverty. The charity Frank Water caught our attention because its focus is to help improve the living standards of poorer communities by going into areas often too remote for larger charities and establishing clean water systems.

Till The Coast is Clear
Nkuku’s head office and store are situated in Devon, near the beautiful South Coast. We realise how fortunate we are to live in such a stunning part of the world, but we also feel a shared responsibility to help keep our coastlines free of plastic and waste. ‘Til the Cost is Clear is a Community Interest Company, striving to make the world a better place, one piece of plastic and one happy soul at a time. They focus on regeneration, working with local communities by clearing shorelines of plastic pollution using special recyclable boats and a fleet of kayaks made from recycled fishing nets, all crewed by volunteers, from all walks of life.
