We’re delighted with this new set of two small Kalini mugs in a deep amber glaze, which has been kiln-fired to create its distinctive tonal patterning. We’ve designed these mugs to have the perfect proportions, making them understated everyday pieces, with a pared-back style brought to life by the colourways of the glazing. Thanks to the irregularities and uncertainties of the firing process each piece is utterly unique. This range comes in three beautiful colours and three sizes to match every need.
These ceramics are handmade in Vietnam by skilled artisans, using a wealth of techniques, some of which are thousands of years old. They apply the glaze by hand which is then kiln fired at just the right temperature to create the distinctive colour and irregular patterning found on each piece.
To care for your mugs, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care to prevent chipping.

Lovely glaze. Decent size. Small to me is espresso-sized. These are a decent cuppa so not so small. Lovely to use. Believe we all deserve beautiful things in our every day lives. That’s why Nkuku is so wonderful. Recommended.

Gorgeous mug for a short coffee. Just the right size and shape to Cwtch with both hands. My son loves a hot chocolate in this mug as its just enough without being excessive. The blue colour and glaze is beautiful.

Love these mugs, they are gorgeous. A little bit too big for a flat white IMO, would love to see Nkuku do a 160 and 180ml mug. But these are still lovely and do the job!
