Our Karaya cushions are beautifully made from wool and cotton for extra softness, with a simple line design in two complementary earthy, neutral tones, showcasing the experienced craftsmanship that goes into all our nkuku textiles. As the fabric is handwoven, there are slight variations between pieces, making each utterly unique. The sandstone and cream hues are complementary to any design scheme and will add a fresh update to a sofa or armchair. Please note, this is the outer cover only. Available in two sizes. Our feather cushion inners will accompany your cushion cover perfectly. Please note, the size of the cushion inner will display slightly larger than our cushion covers to allow for a plump finish when put together.
We choose to work with natural, recycled and reclaimed materials for our pieces; in this case the natural beauty of wool and cotton. Woven on a traditional Indian handloom representing one of India's most ancient crafts, it embodies centuries of heritage. Our textiles honour this legacy, meticulously woven, braided, and stitched by skilled makers using age-old techniques. Each piece celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship passed down through generations.
To care for these items, we recommend spot clean only using a damp cloth or sponge. Colours may fade in direct sunlight.

The handloom is one of the oldest crafts in India. Our collections are skilfully woven, braided and stitched by hand using these age-old methods. The skill of the weaver expertly crafting patterns from memory is a pleasure to behold.
