Our Karuma ceramic plates have a distinctive and striking design. The thin blue lines are first etched into the clay and then hand painted. The design frames each piece perfectly and provides a backdrop for serving up meals in style. This set of 12 ceramics includes everything you need for four people - 4 dinner plates, 4 side plates, and 4 bowls. Made in North Vietnam using age-old methods, this collection is painted and shaped by hand by artisans incorporating traditional and contemporary influences.
To care for your set, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care to prevent chipping

Crafted in Vietnam by skilled makers using traditional techniques, each piece in our Nuwara and Karuma collection is thrown on a wheel and shaped by hand before a simple but striking design is hand-etched onto the surface, and each piece is bathed in an earthy, mustard glaze and fired for a rich finish.
