At nkuku, we proudly use natural, reclaimed and recycled materials as we believe in celebrating the beauty of the natural world, reusing resources and minimising waste wherever we can. Our Akra Recycled Glass Vase is no exception. The molten glass is hand blown into a simple mould to create this shape. We use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand blown or placed in a mould to create a beautiful new product.
To care for this item, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, damp cloth. To clean the item, hand wash only using a mild dish soap and do not leave to soak.

Recycled glass is washed before being crushed and melted down by skilled glassmakers. Each recycled glass piece is gently mouth-blown, creating irregular mottled patterning that renders each piece totally unique and pleasingly opulent.
