Inside Our Chelsea Flower Show Collaboration

There is something truly extraordinary about the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Beyond the remarkable gardens and floral displays, it is a celebration of creativity in all its forms. A coming together of nature, artistry and thoughtful design. Of makers, and growers sharing ideas, inspiration and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

This year, we were incredibly honoured to be part of it alongside our partners, Killik & Co., The Glasshouse Collective and Landform, hosting a special press day within the beautifully designed barn space at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Together, we wanted to create a space that felt warm, welcoming and reflective of the values we hold closely at Nkuku. A space grounded in natural materials, handcrafted details and a slower, more thoughtful way of living.

Inside the barn, handcrafted furniture, lighting and homeware pieces sat amongst seasonal flowers and layered natural textures. The atmosphere felt calm and relaxed, shaped by the softness natural tones and the beauty of gathered objects with stories behind them.

We are also incredibly honoured to announce that our space, The Killik Barn in association with The Glasshouse Collective, was awarded 5 Stars by the RHS judges, the highest recognition possible for a trade stand at the Chelsea Flower Show. It was a wonderful moment for everyone involved and a reflection of the creativity, care and collaboration that went into every detail of the space.

To celebrate press day and kick off the event, we welcomed a small group of Nkuku ambassadors whose work and perspectives reflect different elements of our brand and the way we think about home.

Each bringing their own expertise and artistry, from travel-inspired interiors to timeless and nature-led style, the values that continue to shape Nkuku and everything we create.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was a creative workshop led by floral artist Joanna Game.

Using pressed flowers sourced from our very own home of Devon, guests created their own arrangements within our iconic handcrafted Kiko frames. There was something incredibly special about watching each person approach the process differently, slowly layering colour, texture and shape to create something entirely personal.

The workshop captured the spirit of the day beautifully. Creative, unhurried and deeply connected to nature.

Later in the afternoon, guests gathered around the table for refreshments featuring Pentire spritz serves topped with Navas Drinks tonic, our fellow B corps, poured into our hand-blown Yala gin glasses. It felt important to bring together brands who share a similar commitment to thoughtful production and considered craftsmanship.

Lunch by Ottolenghi followed, served buffet-style across our collection of statement serveware. Platters were passed around the table, conversation flowed easily and guests lingered amongst flowers, candlelight and the late afternoon sun filtering through the barn space.

There is always something meaningful about sharing food around a table. Especially within a setting designed to feel welcoming and lived in.

After lunch, guests spent the afternoon exploring the extraordinary gardens and exhibits across the Chelsea Flower Show, drawing inspiration from the creativity and imagination surrounding every corner of the event.

We left the day feeling deeply grateful. Grateful to everyone who collaborated with us, visited the space and shared such kind feedback throughout the event. And grateful to have been part of a show that continues to celebrate craftsmanship, creativity and connection to the natural world so beautifully.

For us, it was a reminder that home is not simply about interiors. It is about atmosphere, feeling and the stories that objects carry with them. The pieces we gather slowly over time. The tables we share with others. The creativity that brings people together.

Values that remain at the heart of everything we do at Nkuku.
