Design Story

The Zairya tall pouf is upholstered in a richly textured blend of jute and cotton, hand block printed in earthy rust and charcoal on a natural ground. Its sculptural shape brings a little height to the Zairya collection.

With a seat height of 52cm, the Zairya pouf is as useful as an extra seat as it is a footrest or, with a tray on top, a small side table in a living room, bedroom or reading corner.

The fabric is handwoven on traditional Indian looms. Skilled makers then apply the pattern with hand-carved wooden blocks and natural dyes, following age-old block printing methods, and the pouf itself is constructed by hand.

    Perfect Pouf!

    Ideal size for perching on or resting legs. Sturdy enough to pop a tray on and use as an occasional table. Lovely material and design, looks great in our living room! Very happy as usual with my Nkuku buy 😊
