How It's Made

Crafted from solid brass, the Thenkara lamp is cast before being carefully shaped and finished by metalworkers. Traditional tools, including hammers and chisels, are used to refine the form while preserving the character of the material. An aged brass finish enhances the warm golden tones of the metal, and because every component, from the adjustable fittings to the screws, is made from brass, each lamp develops its own unique patina over time.
Care Instructions

To care for this lamp, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Always ensure the lamp is unplugged when cleaning.
