Skilled makers in India weave each shade by hand using traditional kilim techniques, tightly interlacing warp and weft yarns to create the signature flat, pile-free surface. They use wool to form the richly textured outer layer, then attach it by hand to a pure linen lining and antique brass frame.
Care Instructions

To care for your Kilim lampshade, gently dust with a soft, dry cloth or brush to maintain the natural texture of the jute kilim. Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight to preserve the fibres and colours; spot clean only with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners or soaking.
