We've chosen the thickest cotton yarn we could find to be woven into this luxuriously chunky boucle fabric.

Design Story

We’ve created the generously sized off-white Otas Ottoman, which makes a gorgeous standalone piece or can also be paired with our sumptuous Otas armchair. A handsome focal point in any living space, its decadent boucle style is eye-catching yet its neutral palette allows it to fit seamlessly into any design scheme. Made with beautiful cotton yarn, it has an irresistibly soft tactility that makes it a fabulous additional seating option as well as an irresistible footrest. This classically-shaped yet contemporary-looking piece has a solid mango wood base with carved feet that bring an extra touch of considered detail to this unique design.

How It's Made

We’ve chosen the thickest cotton yarn we could find to be woven into this luxuriously chunky boucle fabric. The design features mango wood legs which have been individually hand-turned. Mango wood is a by-product of mango farming. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, and harvested over a number of years, then once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they are cut down to allow farmers to plant more trees. Selling the waste material also provides the farmers with a supplementary income.

    Gorgeous!

Our sofa was pretty uncomfortable so it was either replace it or buy a footstool/ pouff. This little gem has transformed our cosy lounging evenings and looks just gorgeous.
