Made with beautiful cotton yarn in a decadent boucle style, this classically shaped yet contemporary looking chair has a solid mango wood base with carved feet.

Design Story

The Otas armchair is upholstered in a soft off-white cotton bouclé and rests on a solid mango wood base with carved feet. Its classic shape has a contemporary ease, and its generous proportions invite you to curl up and stay a while.

The looped cotton yarn gives the surface a tactile, gently textured feel that is lovely to the touch. Below, the carved feet add a considered detail that rewards a closer look. It is handcrafted in India using traditional techniques.

The Otas has a seat height of 52cm, a relaxed height for sinking into with a book. A reading corner with a floor lamp suits it well, as does a pair either side of a fireplace.
