The solid iron framework is forged and welded to create a strong and sturdy base that will stand the test of time. The leather upholstery is handmade from buffalo leather, a by-product of buffalo farming where herds are tended by local herdsmen. The leather is then dyed using vegetable extract and tree bark, this means the leather colour will enrich further with time.
To care for your leather wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. To protect the finish, avoid use of chemicals and household cleaners. To nourish the leather and to prevent drying out and cracking we recommend applying a specialist product, or using petroleum jelly or flax oil.

These are solid, well-made and very handsome bar stools and we are very pleased with them.
Only 4 stars (really 4.75 stars) because the seat could do with being about 5cm lower (as a previous reviewer has already commented). However, we knew the height before we bought them. We set our outgoing pneumatic bar stools to 70cm to ‘test’ that fixed height and we figured we could ‘live’ with that because they are otherwise so good.

Comfortable, loved by kids, great looking. We would buy again.
I would recommend to create a version with 65cm high, so around 5cm lower for the kitchen peninsula. Also I would add a soft cushion (as optional) for the feet support. But these are just a slight improvements. The chairs are already great.

Very Happy with these stools, well made, comfy & look good. We made a trip to Nkuku & had breakfast in the cafe, were happy to find these stools in cafe, so able to try them out before buying.
