The soft textures of our Mika Square Cushion Cover blend recycled materials in an appealing pattern and soft tangible finish. Play with shapes and sizes, for an easy way to revive your home interior. Our feather cushion inners will accompany your cushion cover perfectly. Please note, the size of the cushion inner will display slightly larger than our cushion covers to allow for a plump finish when put together. Our square cushion inner pairs perfectly.

How It's Made

These pieces are handmade from recycled plastic yarn that is shower proof. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a highly recyclable plastic resin. Currently, a large perecentage of soft drinks are packaged in PET plastic bottles. The recycing process involves breaking the plastic back into its original monomors, where it can be spun into yarns. The resulting thread has a similar look and feel to cotton.

To care for these cushion covers, we recommend spot clean only. Colours may fade in direct sunlight.

    A beautiful cushion

    I love this cushion. I recently redecorated my bedroom and wanted some new cushions to match the design. After hunting everywhere I spotted these and I'm so pleased I did. From the moment I unpacked them I could tell they were a lovely quality and look even better than the photos. I've never bought from nkuku before but I've definitely added them to my favourite places to shop in the future.

    Lovely cover

    It looked huge when it arrived, but it really is just 50x50. Colours are true to pics online - so a kind of ecru shade with the black. Looks fab as an accent on my bed with one of the gorgeous Nkuku throws draped ontop of the bedspread

    Very stylish and unusual

    The only problem is that they don’t have any care instructions on them and after making enquiries with Nkuku I find they are not washable and was told that they can only be spot cleaned. As they are basically white, this will be a problem in the future
