Design Story

The unique detailing on our Malia dinner plates bring a sense of occasion to the everyday. Handcrafted using traditional methods that have stood the test of time, the products are fired with a reactive cream glaze which responds to the heat of the kiln in any number of unpredictable ways. The end result is a product with distinctive markings and colouration. Our Malia dinner platers are shaped on a potter’s wheel and finished with a stylish linear pattern that is painted onto the rim by hand. Style with the rest of our Malia collection for a sophisticated dining set.

    Stylish plates

    We ordered 6 bowls and liked them so much that we ordered these plates too. Unlike the bowls they are large, but attractive and quirky.

    They are however very heavy but fine for special meals. Great that they are dishwasher safe.
