The base is made from hand-bent metal by artisans in India using traditional methods to create a delicate yet sturdy shape, then an antique brass finish is applied.

Was a bit more bronze than brass in my opinion but beautiful nonetheless and felt very sturdy. For it during a 20% promotion so well worth the expense. Would fit in many different room styles.
I think this is a lovely vase. It looks great. Like another reviewer I bought it as a gift but may well end up keeping it. It is quite big though, so unless your flowers are fake or have very long stems, it might not work for you.
This vase is absolutely stunning. Bought as a present but don’t want to part with it now!!!
