Made from recycled glass, the warm natural amber tones of our Ilcoso Soap Dish are beautifully enhanced with a tactile hammered finish. Paired with an organic handmade soap, this piece helps to create a spa-like atmosphere in any bathroom and makes a thoughtful housewarming gift.
We use recycled glass to make this soap dish. Firstly, waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is crushed and melted down before being moulded into the desired shape. It is then hammered using traditional tools for an irregular finish that gives each piece a unique organic quality.
To care for your item, we recommend you use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care.

Recycled glass is washed before being crushed and melted down by skilled glassmakers. Each recycled glass piece is gently mouth-blown, creating irregular mottled patterning that renders each piece totally unique and pleasingly opulent.

Whilst it doesn’t have any ridges to drain the soap, it is slightly bowed so my soap hasn’t gone soggy! Great size, love the fact it is recycled and the colour is lovely.

Use this to house a big sponge alongside the soap dispensers holding hand wash and dish soap in the kitchen. Very spacious! Lovely glass. I wouldn’t recommend it as an actual soap holder though as there’s no drainage so your soap would just get soggy and soft. Great for a sponge after you give it a good squeeze though.
