We think this elegant lamp base is divine. It is crafted from recycled glass by skilled artisans in Rajasthan. The hammered effect is created by hand when the glass is molten giving a beautiful textured and imperfect finish.

To care for this lamp, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the glass in a circular motion on a regular basis. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. We recommend removing the lampshade and ensuring unplugged when cleaning.

Recycled glass is washed before being crushed and melted down by skilled glassmakers. Each recycled glass piece is gently mouth-blown, creating irregular mottled patterning that renders each piece totally unique and pleasingly opulent.

I like the chrome finish at the top of the lamp which adds to the quality of the overall finish. In the picture the glass looks brighter and more orange than it actually is. Probably closer to a dark amber/brown even when lit. Still nice and I’ve kept it because it works well in my room.

The lamp is just what I wanted and looks very stylish. I ordered the larger one first but found it was too big for my needs. The customer service were very helpful and the return and new purchase was efficient and prompt given it was the holiday season. Would recommend Nkuku for service and quality.
