These are hand blown and handmade, there may be some slight variations in the top of the piece. We use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand blown or placed in moulds to create beautiful new products.

To care for your mango wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a cloth. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time.

I bought the large Recycled Glass Cake Dome for my daughter’s Christmas. It arrived on time but there was a flaw in the glass which I thought might lead to a crack.
I contacted Nkuku Customer Care and sent a photo. The response was excellent and a new Glass Cake Dome was dispatched immediately. Thankyou Shauna. The Glass Cake Dome is worth buying. It is functional and beautiful.
I also bought the aged zinc Abari Baubles. The large ones are a bit heavy but look good.. The smaller ones are better for hanging on the Christmas tree. They are very unusual. We will use them for years to come.
I wondered if Nkuku could pack the Glass Dome in something other than polystyrene but maybe that’s a difficult one to answer.
I bought these with the discount but I actually think they would have been worth the full price.
