Each Peplu napkin is crafted using the traditional art of hand block printing, a time-honoured technique passed down through generations in India.

Design Story

The Peplu napkins are inspired by traditional Indian block print textiles, reimagined in a warm terracotta hue that brings a sense of depth and warmth to the dining table. The gentle pattern reflects the rhythm and imperfection of handwork, where each print tells a story of time, skill, and artistry. Designed to pair beautifully with both rustic and refined table settings, this set of four napkins offers a thoughtful way to bring texture and meaning to everyday dining and sits perfectly with our colleciton of table accessories.

How It's Made

Each Peplu napkin is crafted using the traditional art of hand block printing, a time-honoured technique passed down through generations in India. Skilled artisans carve intricate motifs into wooden blocks, which are then dipped in dye and carefully stamped onto a cotton-linen blend fabric. The process is slow and precise, with subtle variations in each print reflecting the handmade nature of the craft.
