We are delighted with our new Keya Chair for the elegant simplicity of its silhouette that marries so beautifully with its contemporary and utterly irresistible chunky-weave wool upholstery. Supremely cosy; the two cushion pads have a subtle diamond design that adds an extra touch of detail to this timeless piece. This would work beautifully in the corner of a living space or bedroom as an occasional chair, or in a reading nook.
The upholstery is made with Hand knitted cotton, viscose & wool rug (30% Cotton, 40% Wool and 30% Viscose). Skilled artisans hand-knit the chunky weave fabric. Slight variations appear in the knitting which is the beauty of this handmade piece. The mango wood frame has a light natural tone with natural variation within the grain. We love working with this material which is a by-product of the mango-growing industry in India and repurposing it to give it a new lease of life. Once the trees are no longer fruitful, they are taken down and we use them to create many of our stylish, eclectic and sustainable furnishings for use throughout the home. We support artisanal ways of working with wood, celebrating and keeping age-old skills alive.
Clean spill immediately by blotting with clean sponge or cloth. Vacuum regularly. Can be professionally cleaned. Colours may fade in direct sunlight.

Keeping traditional skills alive, natural woolen yarns are woven by hand into a textured diamond design, whilst traditional carpentery techniques are used to smooth an elegant mango wood frame. A sustainable by-product of Indian mango-growing, it offers a beautifully light grain, which pairs wonderfully with the wool.
