These timeworn details bring warmth and authenticity to the wooden board, celebrating the beauty found in imperfection and the stories embedded in reclaimed materials.
How it's Made
These boards are reclaimed Indian chakla. The chakla evolved into an important kitchen tool in Indian households, particularly for the making of Indian flatbreads. The wide, smooth surface of the chakla provided the perfect platform for kneading and rolling dough, ensuring even and thin layers of dough for making rotis or parathas.

Care Instructions
To care for your wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth.
