Our Danta folding frames have a traditional folding design. The double aperture is framed with antique black metal, skilfully soldered around the glass. The see-through design adds to the elegance of the frame.
The metal is skilfully soldered around the glass with traditional tools; this handmade process means that there are weld marks on the joins of each piece, a feature that we love as it tells the story of how the product is made.
To care for your frame, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth to prevent the build up of dust or dirt. We recommend a microfiber cloth in a circular motion for the glass.

It’s a beautiful frame and lives up to how it appears in the photo. However, the pin in the hinge has fallen out a few times and is quite difficult to put back in. The other issue is that the metal has sharp edges, which can scratch wooden surfaces, so it isn’t the usual high quality from Nkuku.
