Styling an Easter Table

For so many of us, Easter is a time to reunite with loved ones. It marks the start of Spring, of new beginnings, but also the wholesomeness that comes with a simple
yet beautiful day spent with family. We’re sharing our most useful pointers to help you create your own Spring tabletop filled with natural materials, seasonal blooms and Easter treats.

1. Choose a soft colour palette

Choose a colour palette that is synonymous with spring. Blues and yellows echo the bluebells and daffodils that have started sprouting. Pair our Indigo Drop ceramics painted by hand with extraordinary skill with our new Yala glassware in smoke brown.

2. Use natural materials

The beauty of natural materials is that they pair elegantly and timelessly with any colour palette. Choose the rustic finish of sustainable mango wood, with its soft patina that contrasts against the smooth finish of handblown glass. Incorporating natural materials with our chopping boards and serveware is a simple way to add interest and texture to a tabletop.

3. Create an informal table setting

If a big family lunch is looking less likely, keep things low key with a more informal table setting. Perhaps you might want to make a special effort over Easter breakfast; lay out fresh sticky hot cross buns piled high in wire baskets and mango wood serving platters, with a selection of homemade granola displayed in recycled glass storage jars. Finish with our hand forged brushed silver cutlery for a classic and timeless table setting.

‘For the finishing touch, display chocolate eggs on serving platters
and table settings as a tasteful nod to Easter’

4. Add earthy tones of terracotta

The tactile finish and soft tones of natural materials creates a gentle contrast with the subtle accent of warm brass and gold. Introduce flecks of antique brass with candlesticks or the earthy tones of terracotta vases to brighten up a tabletop, adding warm tones that contrast against the cooler hues of mango wood, recycled glass and marble.

5. Bring the outside in

Add Spring florals in recycled glass vases for a seasonal tabletop that’s rich in character and delicate tones. Tulips and daffodils are so widely
available at this time of year, and never fail to epitomise the new season as they’re lovingly displayed in vases as a colourful table centrepiece. Our Miza Glass
Vases
and Ramla Vase with Lid are perfect vessels for small stems that add a pop of colour and sweet Spring scents to a wonderfully natural table setting.

6. Decorate with chocolate eggs

For the finishing touch, display chocolate eggs on serving platters and table settings as a tasteful nod to Easter. If looking for something a little different, try
natural wooden eggs, or hand-painted eggs for an extra layer of table décor and for a creative activity for children to get involved with.
