This leather item is handmade from goat leather, a by-product. The herds are farmed by local herdsmen. The leather is dyed using vegetable extract and tree bark, this means the leather colour will enrich further with time.

These items are expensive and so cannot complain about the price. They are beautiful pieces though and absolutely love them, as they are and as I imagine they will be with time and the ageing process with leather. I had a minor issue with this item and emailed Customer Services - they were quick, and offered me a range of workable options, agreed and actioned the option that worked and am very happy.
