These elegant Mokomo hanging lanterns are handmade from brass. The lanterns combine a sense of tradition with contemporary design. A t-light fits neatly within and provides a pretty and atmospheric light perfect for cosy evenings. Choose from three sizes or mix and match for an eclectic display.

The metal is skilfully soldered around the glass with traditional tools; this handmade process means that there are weld marks on the joins of each piece, a feature that we love as it tells the story of how the product is made.

Care instructions

To care for your lantern, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth to prevent the build up of dust or dirt. We recommend a microfiber cloth in the circular motion for the glass. To remove excess wax, use warm water with a mild dish soap, be sure to dry immediately and do not soak. Indoor use only. Please position the candle securely and ensure that the flame is not directed at the glass. This product will get hot in use. Keep out of reach of children. Wait until fully cooled before handling. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Lovely lanterns

I bought small and medium and both are well made, giving out pretty, sparkly light when a tea light is lit. They hang well and the different heights makes them look like a mobile when suspended. Even at the sale price they are rather expensive, but I think they will last, and if they are fair trade I don't mind the extra cost. I was so pleased with them that I ordered two more.
