To check your order status, simply sign in to your account using the sign in button in the top right of the website and enter your details. Once you have logged in visit the MY ACCOUNT section, the button for this is located on the top right and side of the page, then select the ORDERS tab. Your orders will appear in date order, to view a specific order click on the associated order number.  

We have included a quick glossary of terms below to help you understand your order history.

Staging: Your order has been received by Nkuku but it hasn't been processed yet

Picking: Your order is in the warehouse being processed

Invoicing: Preparing your order for dispatch

Issued: Your order is out for delivery, you will receive an email confirming this with a tracking reference if applicable.

Can I cancel or amend my order?

We process orders quickly to get your parcel to you as soon as possible, therefore your order has already been picked and packed ready for delivery, so we regret that we are unable to cancel or amend your order.

When you receive your order you will find a delivery and returns leaflet enclosed in your parcel which details how to return your parcel to us.

What shall I do if I have ordered the wrong item or quantity?

We recommend waiting to receive your order. Inside your parcel you will receive a delivery and returns form detailing how to return your products to us.


Ordering through the website couldn’t be easier, simply browse the website adding to your basket either via the quick order window or by browsing the products. At the checkout you will be given the option to checkout as a guest or create a Nkuku account.

Creating an account makes checking out a much quicker process, it also means you can track your order, save your addresses and invoice information, as well as choosing to receive offers and timely news via our marketing emails making sure you never miss an offer or promotion.

If you would like to order by telephone please call us on 0333 240 0155 our team are available from 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday, and we will be happy to take your order or talk through any of the products with you. Please have your payment card details ready. 


We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Switch/ Maestro and Visa Delta as valid payment methods. Your transaction will be processed by Worldpay in a secure environment.

If you pay by credit or debit card, the total order amount will be authorised for payment but we will only charge for the goods as they are dispatched. 

We aim to deliver orders within 2-3 working days (excluding furniture and sofas - see details below). The delivery service requires a signature, therefore we kindly ask that you choose a delivery address where someone will be available to sign. 

If you have provided us with your mobile telephone number at the checkout DPD will send you a text with an hourly delivery slot, therefore if you aren’t able to accept the delivery at that point you can change the location, or the date, or ask DPD to leave it in a safe place.

Made to Order Furniture and Sofas

Our made-to-order furniture and sofas are handmade in the UK by talented artisans. Each piece takes between 8-10 weeks to manufacture, from the date that your order has been confirmed. Our specialist delivery service will make sure that your furniture is delivered to your home safely. They will contact you directly to arrange a suitable date and time for your delivery. We recommend adding your preferred contact telephone number at the checkout so that we can keep you up to date on the progress of your order.

  • We will contact you to confirm that we have received your order and the expected timescales for production
  • Our specialist team will contact you closer to the time, to arrange a suitable date and time for delivery
  • The packaging will be removed at point of delivery
  • The item(s) will be placed in situ
  • A signature is required upon delivery

Made-to-order furniture and sofas can be delivered to UK mainland addresses only. Delivery of these items is free of charge.

You can access the My Account section of the website by clicking the MY ACCOUNT link on the top right of the page. When you create an account with Nkuku, you get the following privileges:

  • Address Book facility to store all your shipping addresses for faster ordering.
  • Once you have placed an order, you can track your orders online via our tracking facility. Find out how about tracking your order on the Track Your Order Page
  • The option of choosing to receive Nkuku email, with special promotions that are exclusive to web customers

We want you to be pleased with your order. If for any reason you are unhappy with your product and would like a refund or exchange then please return it to us within 28 days of receipt in an unused condition. Please see below for full terms and conditions.


In the unlikely event of an item arriving faulty, please contact us within 30 days of receipt by phone or email and we will be happy to arrange for a replacement.

  • We are happy to replace most products but there are some exceptions that cannot be returned unless they are faulty. These products include earrings and items made to order items, including all bespoke furniture.
  • Products returned to us must be in a resaleable condition. Products should be unused, in their original packaging with all labels attached.
  • With the exception of faulty goods Nkuku are not responsible for the cost of returning products to us. We always advise that you obtain a certificate of postage.
  • Please allow us up to 5 working days from receipt for your return to be processed.
  • Goods purchased online cannot be returned or exchanged at the Nkuku Lifestyle Store.

There are a number of ways that products can be returned to us. If you are returning a product, please make sure that you complete the returns form on your delivery note and place it inside the box you are returning.

How to return a product
Returning a product using CollectPlus for only £4.49

You can return your products to us in packaging no bigger than 60x60x50 cm and up to 10kg in weight using CollectPlus. CollectPlus is an easy way to return parcels by dropping them off at one of over 5000 local shops. In order to do this simply visit www.collectplus.co.uk/nkuku to purchase your returns label and find your most convenient shop. Print the label and then apply it to the box that you are returning. When you drop the box at any CollectPlus location you will be provided with a receipt and tracking code. Please note your return label must be purchased before dropping off the parcel.

Returning a product using Royal Mail

On the back of your delivery note you will find a returns label, you will need to include your Invoice Number on this label and stick the label on the box you are returning. Once this is complete you may then take the box to the post office and pay the required returns amount. We kindly request that you ensure that any returned products are well protected and packed for posting, and we always advise obtaining proof of postage.

Returning a large item

Unwanted large items can be returned by using our courier collection service. The cost of this service is £16 per item. Please contact us on 01803 866847 for more details on how to arrange this service. Please note that this service cannot be used to return items of furniture.

Returning a piece of Furniture

For the return of a furniture item (please see the list of exclusions) please contact us on 0333 240 0155 to organise this. Please note that the cost of returning the item will be quoted to you by our Customer Service team. The cost of return furniture items depends on the location and size and weight of the item.

Made-to-Order Furniture and Sofas

We are not able to offer returns on made-to-order furniture and sofas.

Reporting Damage or a Fault

We take great care throughout the production and delivery of your order. From time to time some issues may occur. Should this be the case please contact our Customer Care team immediately so that we can help to resolve the issue. For efficiency please provide your order number and any other information to assist us in resolving the matter promptly.

We aim to keep all of our products in stock however from time to time they may become unavailable. You can find out more information on the availability of items by contacting our Customer Care team by phone or email, who will be able to let you know when items are due back in stock.
