Smooth tactile curves gives this stylish short Loko stool a comfortable seat. Hand crafted from sustainable mango wood the chunky seat combines perfectly with a rustic iron base; this striking stool makes a practical addition to a dining table or home office.
Our mango wood pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make our wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a cloth. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. The finish may mark when put in contact with liquid. Blot any spillage immediately with a dry cloth, do not use chemical cleaners.
