These pieces are handmade from recycled plastic yarn that is shower proof. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a highly recyclable plastic resin. Currently, a large perecentage of soft drinks are packaged in PET plastic bottles. The recycing process involves breaking the plastic back into its original monomors, where it can be spun into yarns. The resulting thread has a similar look and feel to cotton.

Loved this on the website. It looks slightly different in real life, still nice, but not quite as polished in the finishing as I'd have liked. The knobbly woolly bits were a bit pulled and fluffy rather than flat and new looking. However, I kept it as it's so unique. It's seriously massive though, so measure first! Really good for lounging and resting your arm on etc.
