I wanted a solid wood and rustic design and this table meets both of those criteria. It is delivered with the legs folded beneath the tabletop, which you open out and fix in place with the large bolts supplied. One set of legs on my table are not completely straight, due to the way they have been made. I imagine this will not be the case for every table, as it's clear from the handmade characteristics that each one will be different.
The table's surface is formed from planks, which have variations in colour, tone and include bits of old paint and marks. Looking closely you can see a few steel tack heads used in its construction and filler between the planks. This is what I mean by rustic, but I am happy with this. But, be warned, the table's surface is easily marked and scratched. The day after delivery, a mug placed on the table (warm but with a dry base) instantly left pale ring marks. If there is a protective coating, it does not do the job very well. I have since applied a brown-coloured furniture wax to protect the surface, the ring marks are less visible and blend in with all the other variations in tone.
I recommend it if you are looking for something that's unrefined, handmade and deliberately 'rough around the edges'.
